System Configuration

While working through the Quick Start section of the Moogsoft documentation, you may have seen a good amount of success. In the system configuration section, we will dive deeper into each configuration option and learn how to optimize Moogsoft for your specific use case.

This section describes the process of configuring Moogsoft in detail. It begins with suggestions for how to plan your implementation, and then describes the features and settings which are available for each stage of your monitoring data's journey through Moogsoft. These stages include ingesting, normalizing, and enriching data; generating alerts; grouping alerts into incidents; and sending notifications.

Not every user will need to use or configure all of Moogsoft's features. It is likely that many of the default settings will work out of the box for your situation.
